In February of this year, I lost my best friend, Raffa, unexpectedly to diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). His veterinary bills were astronomical, and while I was incredibly lucky to have help covering them, thousands of families facing a pet emergency don’t have that same kind of support.

Now through October 31, 2026, you can buy a $10 mystery horror DVD or a $10 mystery Goosebumps book, with all proceeds going to Frankie’s Friends.

Frankie’s Friends is a nonprofit that helps families afford lifesaving emergency and specialty veterinary care for their pets. Their grants are designed for cases where treatment is necessary, but the cost would otherwise put that care out of reach.
